Daniela Inácio, the retired 10K Portuguese Olympics Swimmer whose road to Beijing 2008 aqualoja was proud to sponsor, easily won the female swimming segment in 0:25:48 with a 44 sec lead over pursuing Shophie Goss (overall female winner). Daniela was part of the VIP I relay team and swam at a disavantage as the only swimmer wearing a plain Lycra swimsuit intead of a Triathlon Wetsuit.
